Although this does not mean at all that you need to abandon dense heavy curtains made of expensive material with beautiful cornices, lambrequins, tassels and pickups. There should be so many lighting devices so that even late at night you can feel like a sunny day. The main decoration in the living room can be a huge crystal chandelier, the reflections of which fill the entire room with rainbow lights.

How to make a bedroom

The bedroom in the French style is something chic and at the same time restrained and noble. As in any bedroom, the main subject here is a bed, a pedestal, the grandeur of which emphasizes the rest of the environment. Usually this is a high-back bed with fabric drapery or in general with a chic canopy made of transparent fabrics, decorated with gold embroidery, lace and frills. Such an ensemble usually includes bedside tables with curved legs, a dressing table or a chest of drawers with a mirror. Bedside sconces or lamps with beautiful lampshades will be a great addition to a bedroom set.

Wardrobes in the bedroom can be made both antique and in a fashionable coupe style with sashes decorated with floral patterns to match the bedspreads. As a rule, the bedroom does not use catchy and bulky stucco molding, it will be enough to have a simple ceiling cornice that completes the calm wall decoration.

But accessories pay special attention. The tailor's mannequin, which is decorated with all kinds of ribbons, beads and lace, has become a favorite and proven exclusively French accessory used in decorating the bedroom. And no matter how strange he looks here is very organic. Quilted bedspreads made of chic shiny fabrics and a huge number of decorative pillows of various shapes, different tones and shades, the colors of which are selected to match the basic color scheme of the room, give a special chic to the decoration of the bed. As a rule, bedspreads and curtains on the window are made of one fabric. Curtains are made heavy and sometimes even on a lining, the color of which should coincide with one of the pillows on the bed. If you observe all these little things and not miss a single nuance, then the whole bedroom will look very organic and thoughtful.

Here, small tables with thin rounded legs, on which towels of a rough fabric are placed or flowerpots with fresh flowers, are appropriate. The walls here, like in other rooms, are painted, and the floor is lined with wood or stone.

Kitchen decoration

A kitchen with a French interior will be the decoration of any apartment. The furniture should have smooth lines and various bends with gilding elements. An integral part of this style of kitchen is the forged parts, which harmoniously combine with different glass inserts and carved doors. All textiles should be exclusively natural, this applies to towels, and tablecloths and curtains. As finishing materials, wood, tile, stone or its high-quality imitation should be used. The dining area of the kitchen can be decorated using a traditional round table with an interesting design of legs and appropriate style armchairs or chairs, the upholstery of which must necessarily be from expensive fabrics such as velvet, linen and brocade. As nowhere else, natural stone and wood panels or imitating old brickwork will be appropriate. Porcelain dishes placed on the shelves of kitchen furniture will be an excellent completion of the entire ensemble.
